I sure would like to attend one of these shows but the closest one is Chicago and that's 500 miles away. I've loved the Fleetwoods since I was little and I listen to their CD over and over. Earth Angel is, of course, a classic and nothing reminds me of the 50s more than that song..... and Dodie Stevens appeared in Clear Lake Iowa this year. My Mom still has NO idea that we've bought tickets as a surprise for her. I told her maybe we'll go to a comedy club that night for my birthday..and being a Mom she agreed to do whatever I wanted to do. I know she'll be SO happy at our yummy pre-show dinner when we tell her we're headed to the Doo Wop show and NOT a comedy club! PBS aired a rerun of Doo Wop show the other night and my Dad said to her--"you know--one day I'll take you to one of those concerts...". She griped back at him that she knows "he'll never do it!" The joke is on her and we're going to have a blast! SO excited! I love hearing the stories from your performances! We’re still excited for the show in Chicago on May 9th!
