Hello Dee Dee,
I recently discovered the videos on You Tube, which lead me to your web site. What a great surprise. I am so glad to see you are still active as I have always been a big fan of Dick & Dee Dee. The young people today are so lucky to have all the videos of their favorite music groups. I remember trying to pick up a rock and roll station on my little transistor radio waiting for a Dick and Dee Dee song to come on. Last year I attended my 40th class reunion and your songs were played over and over. You look fabulous and thank you for all the great memories. Do you still perform at all? Again, thank you for all your great music.

Here I am reading your memoir and poking around looking for more material about your life -- what a blast to see a video of those days and here you and Dick singing. And of course the whole thing feels so much like the sixties, it's a good nostalgia hit too. Of course now I have to buy the CD to hear the rest.

Best wishes,
Jerry Waxler

I have a DVD of the 1963 Dick Clark Doctor Pepper Celebrity Show with the performance of "Turn Around" on it. My copy is a little grainy and don't know where a master copy would be. It is almost a must for fans of early 60's music. If you are ever in Wildwood New Jersey you must stop in at Cool Scoops Ice Cream Parlor at 12th and New Jersey Avenue. The interior is all early 60's decor. Bobby Rydell, Chubby Checker and Dee Dee Sharp stop by there. They would be just thrilled to see you.
